# Authentication

PixieBrix currently supports the following authentication methods:

* Login with Google
* Login with Microsoft&#x20;
* Login with Email (aka "Magic Links"). To ensure email deliverability, see [Network/Email Firewall Configuration](/enterprise-it-setup/network-email-firewall-configuration.md)
* SAML/SSO

For time to value, we recommend starting with Google/Microsoft/Email and adopting SAML/SSO as you scale your PixieBrix deployment.&#x20;

## Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

### Do team members need email inboxes?

No, team members do not need email inboxes unless 1) they are authenticating via Email (aka "Magic Links"), 2) they are an Admin/Manager that needs to receive system emails.
